Fraser Beck
Founder of Optimal Health Model
From an early age, Fraser Beck had a passion for exercise, fitness, and the intricacies of the human body. This passion deepened when, at the age of 13, Fraser was diagnosed with Scheuermann's disease—a condition affecting the spine. His journey through musculoskeletal rehabilitation not only strengthened his body but also ignited a profound curiosity about the connections between breathing, movement, health, and well-being.
Fraser's diagnosis became the catalyst for a lifelong exploration of how the human body functions at its optimal level. Through years of personal experience and professional education, he came to understand that breathing is not just a vital function but the cornerstone of health in all its dimensions—physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual. He developed a deep belief that breathing is the epicentre/epicenter of human function, influencing everything from mobility and strength to mental clarity and emotional balance.
Driven by this conviction, Fraser founded Ohm, the Optimal Health Model, to help individuals optimise their health by focusing on breathing and its transformative effects on the body and mind. Through Ohm, Fraser combines his practical experience in rehabilitation with his passion for fitness and health education, offering a unique, integrative approach to well-being. His goal is to empower people to take control of their health by understanding the pivotal role that breathing plays in every aspect of life.
